The BCICTS Best Paper Award recognizes and promotes high quality contributions to scholarly research among professionals who author and present papers at the conference. All papers submitted in nonstudent category are eligible for consideration for the Best Paper Award. The BCICTS Best Student Paper Award recognizes and promotes outstanding research led by students. The Best Student Paper Award the following criteria:

  1. The student must have carried out a substantial part of the research reported in the paper.
  2. The student must be the first author and must present the paper at the conference.
  3. The paper must be identified as a student paper during submission of the paper.

Eligible papers have been evaluated by the Best Paper Award Committee and the notifications will be announced during the closing session of the conference.

The two award winners will also be presented with an award plaque and a $500 check during the opening session of the next year’s conference. Additionally, winners will receive a 20% discount code for the following year’s symposium registration.
